Roma are very happy with how Leandro Paredes’ signing is turning out to be.

Daniele De Rossi’s return to the Italian capital helped bring out the best in the Argentine midfielder who signed a long-term deal with the Giallorossi last summer.

After experiencing a difficult first half of the season, Paredes was able to turn it around and become a pivotal presence in the midfield and one of Roma’s undisputed leaders in Serie A and Europa League.

With already 47 appearances behind his belt, Paredes is set to continue being a steady presence in Daniele De Rossi’s starting line-up.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, after paying PSG an initial fee of €2.5 million for his signing, Roma will pay an additional €2 million once Paredes completes 80 appearances for the capital club.
