Former Roma defender Riccardo Calafiori is reportedly aiming for a return to the Italian capital.
The young centreback’s ascent under Thiago Motta at Bologna has not gone unnoticed: Calafiori is one of the highest rated youngsters in the league and could be eyeing a move in the summer.
According to calciomercato.it, Calafiori still hopes in a call from Roma this summer despite having drawn interest from Juventus and Milan.
Calafiori’s relationship with Daniele De Rossi could further facilitate a deal involving his return to his boyhood club.
In the meantime, Bayer Munich have also come forward as potential suitors.
