Spanish attacker Alvaro Morata is once again being linked with Roma in light of Romelu Lukaku’s imminent departure from the Italian capital.

The ex-Juventus striker is reportedly once again on Roma’s radar.

According to calciomercato.com, after eyeing him a year ago, Roma are back on Morata’s tracks as they begin their search for Romelu Lukaku’s replacement.

The news portal claims Roma are still interested in the Atletico Madrid man whose contract with the Spanish giants expires in 2026 but contains a release clause valid for clubs outside of Spain.

The release clause in Morata’s current deal corresponds to €12 million, reports Fabrizio Romano.

With Tammy Abraham’s future still uncertain and Romelu Lukaku Chelsea-bound, Roma could make an attempt to sign the Spanish veteran striker.
