Argentine midfielder Rodrigo De Paul weighed in on Lionel Scaloni’s decision to exclude Paulo Dybala from the national team’s squad ahead of Copa America.
In an interview with Bolavip, De Paul commented on the controversial decision on the part of the Argentine manager.
“Scaloni has always been very clear: here there is only one player who has a guaranteed place in the squad and that is Messi. The others fight and try to do their best in their respective teams to be there.”
“The fact that Paulo is not here is a tough blow, because I love him and because he is also my friend who is also part of this, of our group,” he added.
