Daniele De Rossi is said to have communicated to the club a list of players that are deemed untouchable this summer.
The Italian technician was in fact asked by the management to draw up a list of players that he wishes to rely on as the building blocks for the Roma of the future.
According to Corriere dello Sport, this list includes eight players: Mancini, Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini, El Shaarawy and Baldanzi, plus Svilar and Ndicka.
The latter two on the list are expected to receive many offers this summer – Svilar in particular seems to have drawn interest in the Premier League.
Roma, however, have made it a point to resist any offers, including for Ndicka who was rumored to be on his way out earlier in the year after only one season in Italy. Roma plan on keeping him and making him the foundation block of the team’s backline.
