Roma have reportedly made inquiries for Milan’s Daniel Maldini who is coming off a loan spell at Monza.

Over recent months, Paolo Maldini’s son impressed all of Serie A as he moved on loan from Empoli to Monza in January, collecting 11 appearances and scoring 4 goals and 1 assist along the way.

The young midfielder remains a top priority for Monza who would like to make the deal permanent. However, they have not reached an agreement over a buy option.

According to MilanNews.it, Milan will determine the pricetag for 22-year-old Maldini in the coming weeks.

The same news portal claims Roma have come knocking on Milan’s doorstep and inquiring about Maldini’s availability this summer.

The Giallorossi are famously looking to complete their roster ahead of next season and Maldini seems like a good fit in De Rossi’s desired 433 system.
