Tammy Abraham is unlikely to continue playing for Roma beyond this season.

The Englishman’s return from a lengthy injury absence has proven more difficult than expected and his performances failed to impress Daniele De Rossi and Roma’s management: too many costly mistakes and a clear inability to contribute to De Rossi’s team dynamics on the pitch.

Thus, Abraham is now projected to leave the Italian club which he joined from Chelsea in 2021.

Prior to his injury in June of last year, Abraham had been closely linked with Aston Villa.

Now, he is back on the radar of English clubs.

According to Sky Sport, Abraham will return to playing in the Premier League as soon as the first reasonable offer arrives at Roma’s doorstep.
