Roma are being linked with one of Serie A’s break-out stars of this last season in Cagliari’s Zito Luvumbo.

The capital club have begun their search for summer reinforcements ahead of next season.

As reported over the last few days, Roma want to prioritize fast and technically strong players who will fit Daniele De Rossi’s preferred 4-3-3 set-up.

With the exits of Leonardo Spinazzola, Nicola Zalewski, Rick Karsdorp, among others, Roma will need to sign several options on the wing.

The Giallorossi are in fact expected to add 2-3 wingers to their roster this summer.

One of them could be Cagliari’s Zito Luvumbo, reports Unione Sarda.

The news portal claims Roma have come forward and made inquiries for the 22-year-old Angolan winger.

In his first season in Serie A, Luvumbo collected 4 goals and 5 assists in 30 appearances for Claudio Ranieri’s side.

It will not be easy to convince Cagliari to let him go.

In fact, the Sardinian side are expected to ask for a minimum of €20 million.
