In addition to many senior players, Roma will have to decide on the fate of several members of the team’s Primavera.

The recent 3-0 defeat in the Scudetto final against Sassuolo saw the likes of Pagano and Cherubini end their time with the club’s youth sector.

With their contracts set to expire shortly, the two midfielders will seek their first first team contract, either at Roma or elsewhere.

According to Corriere della Sera, the list of players hoping to convince Daniele De Rossi and stay on with Roma’s first team is extensive.

The likes of Joao Costa, Mattia Mannini, Jan Oliveras and Niccolo Pisilli are hoping to be called up for Roma’s training camp this summer.

Costa and Pisilli, in particular, seem to have caught De Rossi’s eye.

The Italian technician reiterated in his media appearances the need for the club to avoid losing gems like they did in the past with Davide Frattesi and Riccardo Calafiori.
