Roma defender Diego Llorente dedicated a special message of gratitude to the Giallorossi supporters.
The Spanish centreback recently concluded his second consecutive loan in the Italian capital.
Llorente will now await Roma’s decision on whether to activate his buy option from Leeds, extend his loan for an additional year or let him return to England.
In a post on Instagram, Llorente reviewed the team’s season of ups and downs and thanked the fans for their undying support.
“It’s time to look back and evaluate what we’ve done this year,” wrote Llorente.
“We can’t be happy because we had the team to go further than we did and we were very close to achieving great objectives. However, it was not an easy season either and the team, together with the fans, overcame very difficult moments and we left everything on the pitch.”
He continued, “We fought and suffered until the end. Thank you for your support in every game. You were incredible. Now we have days of rest… and of waiting…”
