Roma are set to continue relying on Evan Ndicka in the upcoming season with Daniele De Rossi at the helm.

The Ivorian defender joined Roma as a free agent a year ago from Eintracht Frankfurt.

He recently concluded his first season with a total of 34 appearances made across all competitions.

Despite an initial period of settling in, Ndicka eventually grew into one of Roma’s most consistent performers and became a regular starter for the club alongside Gianluca Mancini.

After conquering the AFCON title with the Ivory Coast, Ndicka was rumored to be potentially on his way out as he was bound to attract considerable offers this coming summer.

However, the player is deemed not for sale.

As reported by Leggo, Ndicka is not on Roma’s transfer list and the club will not consider any offers for the 24-year-old centreback.

In fact, like Mile Svilar, Ndicka was also included in De Rossi’s list of ‘untouchables’.
