Leandro Paredes spoke about the importance of playing so many minutes at Roma for his form heading into Copa America with Argentina.
Speaking to TYC Sports from international duty with Lionel Scaloni’s team, the Roma midfielder discussed his season with the Giallorossi.
“I feel very good physically, having played a lot during the season with Roma made me get to this part of the year in the best way possible,” said Paredes.
“It’s good for me because I feel I can give my best for my country now,” he added.
“You can always give more, I have always prepared myself as best I can to be able to play these competitions in the right way.”
This year, Paredes collected his highest total of appearances with 49 games played for Roma, scoring 5 goals and 7 assists across all competitions.
