Roma are eyeing Sporting’s defender Ivan Fresneda.
After only one year in the Portuguese top flight, Fresneda may be on the move with the next destination in Serie A.
His agent, Fali Ramadani, is personally shopping him in Serie A.
Today, Ramadani was in the Italian capital, holding talks with Roma over the feasibility of a deal for the 19-year-old fullback, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Roma technical director Florent Ghisolfi is very familiar with the player, having tried to lure him to Nice a year ago from Valladolid.
The meeting between Ghisolfi and Ramadani revolved around the player’s demands and, more importantly, Sporting’s conditions for a transfer.
Sporting could be willing to sell the full-back, naturally trying to recover the investment made in him just under a year ago.
Roma remains on the sidelines, ready to seize the opportunity to strengthen their defense with the purchase of the promising player born in 2004.
