Roma are not the only club to have expressed interest in Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.
The 31-year-old forward is being linked, among others, with Roma.
The capital club are rumored to have contacted Morata’s entourage and inquired about the possibility of his return to Italy.
The player, faced with limited minutes under Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, is said to be pushing for a move back to Serie A.
Roma would be more than happy to welcome him and have him play under the orders of Daniele De Rossi.
In the meantime, however, Turkish news portal Fanatik reports that former Giallorossi manager Jose Mourinho has requested Morata at Fenerbahce.
The Special One, after being appointed the new head coach of the Turkish giants, has been reportedly promised two top signings this summer: Alvaro Morata and Sadio Mane.
