The agent of Giovanni Di Lorenzo addressed recent rumors of the player being in talks with Juventus.
Marco Giuffredi, Di Lorenzo’s long-time agent, spoke about his client’s future in an interview with TV Play.
Giuffredi remained cryptic about Di Lorenzo’s next destination after his recent falling out with Napoli and the links with Juventus, Inter and Roma.
“I met with Antonio Conte and explained to the coach the reasons that led to our decision to leave Naples,” said Giuffredi.
“The coach strongly reiterated his desire to retain Giovanni, as we did to pursue our own path.”
“I can only say that football is like life: anything can happen,” continued Giuffredi.
“I am convinced that all this commotion arises only because a club called Juventus was brought into play. I can firmly say that I have never spoken with Juventus and therefore with Giuntoli.”
“Neither the player nor I have ever been contacted by anyone from Juventus. Among other things, it is not excluded that Di Lorenzo could go to other clubs, it’s not just Juventus.”
