Paulo Dybala is hoping to extend his stay in the Italian capital.

Upon finishing his second season with the Giallorossi, Dybala focused on the preparations leading up to his long-awaited wedding day.

After being excluded from Argentina’s squad for Copa America, Dybala made sure to cut the wedding celebrations as short as possible and be ready for pre-season training with Roma in July.

On July 6th the Argentine is expected to be back in Trigoria where Daniele De Rossi’s team will commence the first part of preseason.

According to Il Messaggero, Dybala’s long-term future remains unresolved.

His contract expires in 2025 and the infamous release clause of €12 million will become active in July.

The newspaper reports that Dybala’s agent is waiting for a call from Roma director Florent Ghisolfi to pick up talks over a new deal for the 30-year-old.
