Roma are reportedly tracking one of Austria’s most lethal goal-scorers from this year in Karim Konaté.
The 20-year-old Ivorian forward turned out to be the surprise of the Austrian Bundesliga, scoring 20 goals in 29 appearances for Salzburg this season.
Konaté is said to be the latest name on Roma’s shopping list for the summer.
The Giallorossi want to reinforce their attack and prefer to opt for younger players like Konaté than veterans such as the previously linked Alvaro Morata.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s interest in Konaté is real.
The Italian club consider him to be the ideal fit for De Rossi’s team and Konaté’s qualities and potential would line up perfectly with Roma’s long-term, sustainable project.
