Chelsea have irrupted onto the scene and shown interest in Spanish striker Samu Omorodion.

Omorodion was recently linked with the likes of Roma and Napoli.

However, Atletico’s demands seem to have dissuaded both clubs from pursuing the 20-year-old who recently spent the season on loan at Alaves.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Atletico Madrid has already rejected an offer worth €40 million from Chelsea.

Omorodion is no longer convinced of leaving the Colchoneros after switching agents.

Furthermore, the Spanish club values him at €80 million, which is the same value as the release clause in his contract.

This fee is deemed unattainable by both Roma and Napoli who are bound to focus on other targets.
