Roma will soon have a new partner club in England’s top flight.
The Friedkin’s takeover of Everton will soon be made official and sources in Italy claim the two clubs will collaborate on several levels.
With the American owners ready to take stock of Everton in the coming season, more rumors are starting to emerge regarding their ambitions for the two clubs.
Today’s edition of Il Messaggero suggests that the two clubs will be working in ‘synergy’ with a special focus on academy players.
The idea is for Everton and Roma to trade youth players and have them gain more experience playing overseas.
The two clubs will work and also at lower levels, exchanging very young players to make them more competitive when they approach the top leagues. These connections that will develop in the coming months.
In the meantime, Everton are being linked with Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove.
The 22-year-old could be sold to the Toffees with Roma eager to include a buyback clause.
