Roma have reportedly reached out to Manchester City to inquire about Sergio Gomez’s availability this summer.
The Giallorossi are said to be on the tracks of the 23-year-old who’s been faced limited playing time under Pep Guardiola.
Over the course of this past season, Gomez collected only a total of 15 appearances in all competitions for City.
The player is now eager to move elsewhere in search of more minutes despite having still two years on his contract with the Citizens.
According to Relevo, in addition to Roma, Real Sociedad and other Spanish clubs such as Real Betis are also interested.
Gomez can play in several positions, often switching from leftback to left wingback and attacking midfielder.
His flexibility and tactical adaptability is said to have impressed Roma boss Daniele De Rossi.
