Roma’s interest in Torino fullback Raoul Bellanova is well known by now.

The Giallorossi have made Bellanova their top target to replace Rick Karsdorp who is expected to leave the club soon.

Earlier in the week, reports emerged suggesting that Roma had found an agreement with Bellanova’s agent and were hoping to accelerate talks with Torino.

However, the Granata are not making things easy, reports La Repubblica.

According to the Italian newspaper, Roma already presented an initial offer of €15 million, promptly rejected by the Granata president, Urbano Cairo.

In fact, Torino’s estimated asking price for Bellanova is between €20-25 million, possibly in cash, a sum that Roma cannot currently afford without first selling.

Roma’s financial situation is waiting to be unlocked by several outgoing transfers, with names such as Tammy Abraham and Edoardo Bove among the main candidates to leave the club.

This in turn could help Roma near Torino’s price-tag on Bellanova.
