Roma have completed the necessary paperwork for Mile Svilar’s new deal.
Svilar, who had not found space under Mourinho, with the arrival of De Rossi earned the full trust of the team.
The Serbian shot-stopper will soon be rewarded for his impressive ascent in the second half of last season.
Roma and Svilar’s entourage worked closely in recent weeks to find an agreement over a suitable contractual extension.
As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, everything is ready in Trigoria for Svilar, Roma’s current first-choice goalkeeper, to sign a one-year contract extension.
Furthermore, Svilar will see his salary increase up to €1.5 million.
The current contract expires in 2027 and would therefore be extended until 2028.
