Roma are taking concrete steps toward the signing of Nicolas Valentini from Boca Juniors.
The 23-year-old defender is said to be a target for the Giallorossi who have opened talks with the player’s entourage.
According to the latest report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma presented the first contractual offer to the defender, whose deal with Boca expires on December 31st and would therefore be released on January 1st.
There is increasing confidence on the part of the capital club to seal the deal.
The Giallorossi club could decide to bring forward the purchase of the player already in the summer by paying a small compensation to Boca Juniors.
At the moment Valentini is evaluating Roma’s proposal.
