Roma are making progress for Man City fullback Sergio Gomez.
The capital club are keen on the Spanish leftback who is no longer part of Pep Guardiola’s plans after barely getting any playing time last season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, chances of seeing Gomez join Roma are increasing.
Man City have put Gomez on the transfer block and Roma’s only real rival in the race for the 23-year-old is Real Sociedad.
The English giants are asking for 10 million euros – a fee Roma would happily match given their apparent belief that Gomez could be a suitable reinforcement on the left flank along with Angelino whom Roma secured on a permanent deal from Leipzig.
