Former Roma attacker Nicolò Zaniolo is on the brink of sealing his return to Serie A.
Earlier today, Zaniolo arrived in Milano to undergo medical examinations ahead of his transfer switch to Atalanta from Galatasaray. He’ll join La Dea on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
As reported by transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Atalanta will pay the Turkish side €3.5 million for a one-season loan. The deal also includes an obligation to buy, which will be activated if Zanioloes appears in 60 percent of the season’s matches, requiring Atalanta to pay €16.5 million along with €2.5 million in bonuses.
The deal is expected to be announced in the coming hours after the 25 year-old arrived at the club’s Zingonia headquarters to sign his contract.
