Diego Llorente is ready to make his return to Spain after concluding his loan at Roma.
The 30-year-old defender will soon become a new Real Betis player, reveals Fabrizio Romano. After spending the last one year and a half in the Italian capital, Llorente is now set to join Real Betis on a permanent deal from Leeds United.
Leeds will earn around €3 million from the deal, with Llorente signing a four-year deal with Betis until 2028.
Roma were in talks to extend his loan but in the end Leeds’ insistence of getting rid of him on a permanent basis caused Roma to drop out of the race for Llorente.
