Youssef En-Nesyri is nearing a move to Roma after being linked with Fenerbahce earlier in the week.

According to Spanish news portal El Nacional, the Moroccan striker has decided to decline Fenerbahce’s offer and accept Roma as his next destination.

This was also thanks to the direct intervention of Daniele De Rossi who is said to have personally reached out to En-Nesyri to convince him of Roma’s new project.

After an initial proposal of 15 million euros, Fenerbahce had attempted to insert a technical counterpart into the operation to raise the valuation, but without success.

En-Nesyri, on the other hand, is rumored to have been convinced Roma’s project and the prospect of playing in Serie A.

To secure the player, Roma have reportedly made an offer of 30 million euros to Sevilla, who would not have negotiated below 20 million.

Roma’s interest in En-Nesyri is also motivated by the possible departure of Tammy Abraham, who seems to be in AC Milan’s sights.

Roma want to close the deal quickly and have already scheduled a meeting with the Moroccan footballer and his entourage for next Monday.
