Roma are being linked with Ajax striker Brian Brobbey as a possible replacement of Romelu Lukaku.

With Big Rom gone back to Chelsea, Roma must still secure a new number 9, especially given Tammy Abraham’s uncertain future and frail physical condition.

Today’s reports from Germany suggest the Giallorossi have expressed interest in 22-year-old Ajax man Brian Brobbey.

As reported by Sky Sports DE journalist Florian Plettenberg, Brobbey could leave the Dutch giants this summer.

Among the many teams to have made inquiries for him, Roma are also cited as a potential suitor.

The player’s preference remains the Premier League while his contract with Ajax is still valid until 2027.

Brobbey’s price tag ranges between €25-30 million after finishing the season with 22 goals and 8 assists.
