Roma have made surprise inquiry for Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk of Girona.
Dovbyk is the latest name linked with the Giallorossi who are still looking for a replacement of Romelu Lukaku.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are trying to hijack Dovbyk’s deal to Atletico Madrid.
Di Marzio reports that the Italian club are working on the feasibility of a deal involving the 27-year-old attacker.
The Giallorossi club, in addition to Tammy Abraham, could place an interest on the player.
In recent weeks Dovbyk had reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid.
However, no agreement has been reached between Girona and Atletico, leaving Roma an opening.
Dovbyk is coming off an impressive season in Spain with 24 goals and 8 assists to his name.
