Roma are looking at Spanish right-back Marc Pubill of Almeria.
After Aston Villa entered the scene for Lorenz Assignon of Rennes, Roma shifted targets and appeared to have focused on Almeria’s Pubill who is currently busy with the Spanish national team at the Paris Olympics.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 21-year-old fullback is Roma’s current priority to reinforce the right flank.
Di Marzio reports that the Giallorossi have set up a meeting with Pubill’s agent on Thursday afternoon.
Roma’s intention is to beat the competition for the Almeria player: Bologna and Newcastle United have both inquired about him in recent days.
