Roma are keeping their eyes peeled for the right opportunity that would enable the addition of a strong number 9.
Following Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea and his rumored imminent move to Napoli, the Giallorossi have yet to find a new attacker that will lead De Rossi’s team next season.
With Tammy Abraham’s future left uncertain, Roma want to make an important investment in the attacking department.
Thus, calciomercato.com reports that Roma have kept an extensive list of options with Alexander Sorloth, Brian Brobbey and lately also Artem Dovbyk among the listed possibilities.
However, the news portal claims Lille’s Jonathan David is still Roma’s favorite.
The Canadian forward is the strongest profile in Roma’s estimation and the Giallorossi will have to compete with the likes of Milan and Napoli who have also shown interest in him.
It remains to be seen whether Roma will be able to narrow the distance with David’s entourage and their requested commissions.
