AC Milan are in serious pursuit of Tammy Abraham and could soon ramp up talks with Roma.

The English striker is on his way out of the Italian capital, no longer considered a key element of the team’s long-term plans, and has been therefore linked with several other clubs.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, out of all the teams that showed interest in him, Abraham stated his preference for AC Milan.

The Rossoneri reportedly approached Roma a while ago but with no immediate results.

Now, Milan could renew talks as they look to propose a swap involving Luka Jovic.

Di Marzio adds, however, that Jovic is not a player Roma are particularly interested in.

The situation may soon develop as the Giallorossi hope to monetize off Abraham’s sale before the end of the summer.
