Artem Dovbyk is expected to officially become a Roma player within the next hours.

Roma and Girona have just completed the definitive agreement for the Ukrainian striker’s transfer to the Italian capital, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.

The agreement was reached on the basis of €33-34 million fixed fee plus bonuses and a 10% sell-on clause.

After hours of negotiations in a meeting that started at 15h00 (CEST), the representatives of the two clubs and Dovbyk’s agents finalized an agreement that would satisfy all parties and allow Dovbyk to travel to Italy.

Di Marzio reports that Dovbyk will fly to Rome tomorrow, accompanied by Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi, and sign his new contract with Roma (on Thursday, August 1st).
