Paulo Dybala is set to continue playing for Roma for at least one more year.
After much speculation into the Argentine’s future, Dybala will not depart the Italian capital anytime soon.
In fact, Leggo confirms that at midnight in the night from Wednesday to Thursday Dybala’s release clause officially expired.
The clause was worth around 12 million euros and enabled any club outside of Italy to approach the ex-Juve man and release him from his contract at Roma.
However, Dybala never pushed for an exit. On the contrary – the 30-year-old rejected hefty offers from Saudi Arabia to stay on at Roma for his third consecutive season.
