With less than four weeks remaining in the summer transfer window, the future of Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove remains uncertain.
The former Primavera captain has been heavily linked with a transfer exit out of the Italian capital in recent weeks primarily due to his limited playing time following the appointment of Daniele De Rossi in January.
According to Eleonora Trotta of calciomercato.it, Fiorentina have come forward as the leading suitors for the 22 year-old.
Reportedly, La Viola boss Raffaele Palladino requested Bove as one of his top targets for the summer and hasn’t given up hope the team can still acquire him before the transfer window closes on August 30th.
Though, it remains to be seen if they’re willing to meet Roma’s €12 million price tag for the midfielder. In the meantime, Fiorentina have opened talks for Venezia’s Tanner Tessmann—a player they consider a viable alternative to Bove.
