Boubakary Soumaré is the latest player to be linked with a move to Roma.

The French midfielder is considered on his way out of Leicester City upon recently concluding his loan at Sevilla.

Soumaré’s spell in La Liga was a positive one but the Andalusian club decided against activating the buy option in his deal due to limited finances this summer.

Over the last few days, Roma emerged as favorites to sign him.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have launched talks with Soumaré’s camp to assess the feasibility of a transfer involving the 25-year-old.

Physical prowess, ability to intercept the ball and lead the counterattack: he seems like the right profile to complete De Rossi’s midfield.

At Leicester, at the moment, he is limited by Ndidi and Winks.

Soumaré’s price tag is estimated at 15 million euros.

The possible arrival of the midfielder is also linked to the departure of Edoardo Bove.
