Atalanta may soon turn to Tammy Abraham as a replacement of Gianluca Scamacca.
The Italian striker’s potentially season-ending injury is likely to have an effect on Atalanta’s transfer business with the Bergamaschi finding themselves forced to look for a replacement with less than two weeks until the start of the season.
According to calciomercato.com, Atalanta could inquire about Tammy Abraham who is on his way out of Roma.
The Englishman is available on the market and has been linked with Milan over recent weeks.
His future remains unclear, although Roma are doing everything they can to sell him in order to fund their own transfer targets.
Abraham had been close to Atalanta in 2021, prior to his switch to Roma from Chelsea. He is a player that coach Gian Piero Gasperini likes a lot.
