Leandro Paredes and Chris Smalling have no intention of leaving Roma.

The latest report by Corriere dello Sport suggests both players have made important decisions regarding their future in the Italian capital.

Last week, in the training camp of Roma in England, the agent of Smalling brought a significant proposal from a club in the Saudi League but the English defender did not accept it.

Smalling’s current contract at very high wages (around 4 million) satisfies him which is why the English defender is in no hurry to change continent and culture.

Similarly, Leandro Paredes was approached by Saudi clubs in the days that followed Argentina’s Copa America victory.

The midfielder, however, turned down their interest, focusing on his second consecutive season at Roma.

His contract expires in 2025 (he has a renewal option) and prefers to conclude his experience in Europe next year before returning to Argentina, to Boca.
