Roma defender Gianluca Mancini spoke ahead of the team’s first official match of the 24/25 Serie A season.
Minutes away from kick-off, Mancini spoke to DAZN.
“We feel ready, we’re coming off a really good preseason with the coach and we feel ready for today,” he said.
“There’s excitement, we feel confident that we will do well tonight,” he added.
“Cagliari are a good team. It’s difficult to play here, they’ve changed a lot and it’s also difficult due to the heat. We come here with ambition, we will not leave points along the way.”
“The new signings? They are hungry, we’re helping them settle in. But they’re good guys and quality players.”
