Cagliari sporting director Nereo Bonato spoke in favor of Roma’s transfer business prior to tonight’s kick-off.
In an interview with DAZN, Bonato previewed the match and discussed Roma as an opponent:
“We finished a cycle with Mr. Ranieri, which was very positive, and we start again with a different mentality, with dynamic and aggressive football. For Davide Nicola, Cagliari could be the right place, his impact has been positive,” said Bonato of his new head coach.
“Roma? We will be playing against a very strong team that has made quality signings and will therefore want to get off to a good start.”
“We have to put everything we have on the pitch, we know that we have to be aggressive and dynamic because Roma have more quality in the squad. We must demonstrate the characteristics that the team must bring to the rest of the season.”
