Cagliar boss Davide Nicola summed up his thoughts after the 0-0 draw with Roma.
Following tonight’s result, the Italian technician spoke to DAZN.
“Tonight we got a Cagliari team that has shown that it wants to play the game with ideas and courage. Roma weren’t at their best, but it was an important test for us.”
“We were good, Roma know how to spread out and hurt their opponents,” he added.
“i liked what I saw from my team. The players never gave up. Roma have great players, but we never gave up believing we could score, and I take satisfaction from this,” he added.
