Paulo Dybala’s future is expected to be resolved within the coming hours.
The Argentine is said to be still taking time to reflect on the decision to make while faced with a huge offer from Saudi Arabia.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Dybala is counting on his family to help him decide.
Dybala’s mother, Alicia, has arrived in Rome to join his wife Oriana in discussions regarding the attractive offer coming from Al-Qadsiah, a Saudi club willing to put on the table a contract worth 20 million euros per season for three years.
Such a generous offer is difficult to refuse, but Dybala is torn at the idea of leaving an environment where he has found support and affection over the last two years.
On the economic front, Al-Qadsiah has reached an agreement with Carlos Novel, Dybala’s agent, and is now preparing to present an official proposal to Roma.
The capital club, however, would at least like to see the amount of the release clause, which expired last July, which amounted to 12 million euros, honored.
The Arabs, on the other hand, seem to be oriented towards a compensation of 7-8 million, a figure that does not fully satisfy the Giallorossi management.
Despite this, the parties could reach an agreement, allowing Roma to break the deadlock and concentrate on finding a suitable replacement.
