Roma have identified Lens defender Kevin Danso as their priority target for Daniele De Rossi’s backline.

The Giallorossi are eager to complete the defensive department by bringing in an additional centreback.

In recent hours, Roma made inquiries for Kevin Danso, which soon developed into full-on talks with Lens.

As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma are working to sign Danso from Lens.

The Austrian centreback has already given his OK for the move.

A week ago, Atalanta had practically closed the deal for him on the basis of €23 million + €5 million in bonuses but ultimately backed out and focused on other targets.

Thus, Roma are now aware what Lens’ exact demands are: the capital club are making steady progress in negotiations.
