Negotiations between Roma and Stade Rennais for Lorenz Assignon seem to have come to a halt in recent days.

As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma’s pursuit of the French right-back has yet to materialize in a written offer.

Despite agreeing to submit a proposal of 10 million euros between loan fee and obligation, Roma have not formalized this offer on print.

As a result, Biafora reports that Rennes have communicated to the full-back that a concrete signal from the Giallorossi is needed by today.

Without the written offer of a loan with obligation to buy for 10 million the deal is off.
