Roma to fund remaining transfer targets with Bove and Zalewski sales

Andy Mattioli

Roma are working to complete their list of summer reinforcements.

In particular, the capital club are eyeing the addition of a new right-back, midfielder, central defender and left winger.

At this moment in time, the players closest to Roma are Manu Koné and Kevin Danso.

Having presented their first offer for Kevin Danso, Roma will now re-evaluate their budget and assess whether they can proceed with the negotiations or if they must first secure a number of outgoing transfers to increase their financial means on the market.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi are likely to rely on the sale of Edoardo Bove and Nicola Zalewski.

Bove is keen on a move to Napoli, whereas Zalewski has drawn PSV’s interest.

Both their exits would represent major capital gain for the club who would thus be able to reinvest these funds into the remaining transfer targets.
