Kevin Danso will not be joining the Giallorossi after his move was officially called off tonight.

With only hours remaining until the transfer deadline, Danso’s move to Roma did not take place due to the player failing his medical with the Giallorossi.

As revealed by Sky Sport, Danso failed an essential aspect of his medical related to the fitness certificate that is required by law.

In Italy, the authorities require each player to undergo tests to evaluate the so-called suitability to play professionally, but above all to identify possible congenital or acquired pathologies of which the patient is not aware, such as cardiovascular diseases or pathologies affecting bones and muscles.

Roma had no control over these tests and the ruling on the matter was not carried out by them.
