Portuguese defender Tiago Djalo completed his Roma medical and is now waiting for the club’s verdict.
The Giallorossi do not appear entirely convinced of the centreback’s fitness levels and had him complete further tests just to be on the safe side.
In the meantime, Roma have been looking for additional defensive reinforcements with links to Mats Hummels and Milan Skriniar, among others.
Earlier this afternoon, Djalo returned to the Hilton hotel in Rome following the conclusion of his medical tests.
When asked by reporters gathered in the hotel lobby what his future holds, Djalo simply responded, “I don’t want to talk now, I’ll do it later.”
