Roma are confident they can overtake Galatasaray in the race for free agent Mario Hermoso.
The Spanish defender is Roma’s number one priority after the transfer deadline.
The capital club have been locked in talks with Hermoso’s entourage since last night.

Roma are now closer and expect to complete the definitive overtaking on Galatasaray.
The distance is very small on the salary between the player’s request and the club’s offer and the deal could be sealed shortly.
