Mario Hermoso is one step away from joining Roma on a 3-year deal.
As reported by Matteo Moretto of Relevo, the Spanish free agent will sign an initial contract of 2 years with an option to extend it until 2027.
The player is expected in the Italian capital today, at 14h00 CEST, prior to his medical with the club.
According to Moretto, Roma were able to overtake Galatasaray in what was a heated two-team race for the ex-Atletico Madrid man.
Additionally, the player rejected approaches from Villareal and Al Ittihad in favor of Roma.
