French midfielder Manu Koné spoke about his recent move to Roma from Borussia M’Gladbach.

While on international duty with Didier Deschamps’ side, Koné was interviewed by the media about his decision to join Roma on the day of the transfer deadline and his recent debut for the Giallorossi vs Juventus.

“It’s a great pride to have been called up for a Serie A match and to have made my debut. It’s a dream that I was hoping to realize in the short term. The move to Roma allows me to have more ambitions.”

“I spoke to the coach, the project convinced me, I can’t wait to play for Roma.”

“The negotiation was very quick,” added Koné. “It all happened quickly. I know I’m at a turning point in my career. I’m in the French national team, I play for Roma, it’s up to me to demonstrate that I can remain at this level.”
